| BRINDL Sweet & Soulful Acoustic Folk  “Acoustic Heart” is a collection of 12 new intimate and acoustic songs. The songs range from hopeful to heartbreaking with gently strummed guitar, layered harmonies and evocative piano solos. Reminiscent of Patty Griffin’s “Living With Ghosts,” strong and passionate vocals and compelling stories are the driving force of Acoustic Heart. “I am inspired by the acoustic albums of artists like Gillian Welch and Patty Griffin. There is a rawness and honesty to an acoustic recording that I love.” Born in New York state and raised in California, Brindl started writing songs on her brother’s guitar at 16. She was influenced by everything from 70’s singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Crosby, Stills and Nash to Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
